The unbelievably small with a big sound!

Thanks to their minimal dimensions, the VT400 SERIES lavalier microphones are the specialists for concealed miking (feature films, documentaries, theatre performances), but can of course also be mounted visibly thanks to matching accessories. Thanks to injection moulding, the microphones are extremely robust and shockproof. The cable is moulded directly into the capsule housing, making it virtually impossible to pull out. The RF-protected microphone capsule of the VT400 models prevents interference from RF signals and the particularly flexible connection cables ensure the elimination of disruptive handling noise.

Our VT406WA, the latest member of the VT400 family, impresses with its virtually noise-free transmission and exceptional sensitivity. It was specially developed for film sound recordings and other applications where the precise reproduction of fine sound nuances in speech and other acoustic sources is crucial.

For quiet and loud sound sources

The VT400 series lavalier microphones are tiny and impress with their open and clear sound. In addition to the particularly lightweight and ultra-compact VT401, which is ideal for recording quiet signals due to its low noise floor, the VT403 models are the first choice for recordings at high levels. The minimal distortion at high sound pressure levels (136dB SPL) impressively demonstrates the high quality of the VT403 models.

Durable

Extremely robust and impact-resistant thanks to injection moulding. The cable is moulded directly into the capsule housing, which makes it virtually impossible to pull out.

Prevents unusable recordings

The RF-protected microphone capsule of the VT400 models prevents interference from RF signals and the particularly flexible connection cable ensures that handling noise is eliminated.

Waterproof design

The VT403WA, VT403WATER & VT406WA are the waterproof models in the range, offering excellent resistance to moisture and/or sweat, making them ideal for demanding productions in wet environments. In addition, the VT403WA & VT406WA offer particularly robust cables that are characterised by sweat, cut and tear resistance, developed for the toughest outdoor, film and stage applications.

Compatibility

All microphones can of course be ordered with the appropriate plugs for all common wireless systems and recorders. Operation via an XLR connection with 48V phantom power is also possible with the optional VT1126 adapter series.
